How to login

Please find below a link to receive your password in order to access the new system, simply click on the link from either computer, laptop, ipad or mobile and then enter your email address.  A password will then be sent to you. 

Next, go to https://www.classswap.co.uk/login/ and click on 'LOGIN' on the top right hand side.  Enter your email address and password and click on Login, the main menu will then appear.

How do I access ClassSwap? From computer, laptop, ipad or mobile - Is there an App?

No, but using your phone or ipad go to www.classswap.co.uk and then add this as a shortcut on your homescreen so that it is easily accessible for you. If you would like us to do this for you in class just ask.

 

I requested a password but didn’t receive one.

Check your spam folder.  If it’s not there, check to ensure you have entered your email address correctly.

 

My password doesn’t work?

Sometimes one character of the password falls onto the next line, so check that you haven’t missed off the last character.  Also check that you haven’t typed in a capital ‘i’ rather than a lower case ‘L’ and vice versa as these often look the same.

 

I’ve managed to log in and am now navigating around the system, what is the little picture within the blue button on the left?

This is the home icon and is useful to go back to the main menu at any time.

 

How do I cancel a class?

Click on the blue button at the top which says ‘Post’, scroll down to the relevant class and click on ‘Post’ (an email will be sent to you to confirm your cancellation).

How do I book a class with my credits?

Click on the blue button at the top which says ‘Take up’. A list of available classes will appear in date order. Once you have chosen a class, click on ‘Claim’ (an email will be sent to confirm your booking).

I took up a class but it is no longer showing in my list of classes when I click on ‘Post’.

The class will disappear from the system around 1 hour prior to the start of the class but you are still booked in so don’t worry.

 

How do I view my schedule of classes upcoming?

Click on ‘Post’, you will see a list of your usual classes, then scroll down further and you will see another heading which says ‘You can also cancel the following take up’s’ under this heading any catch up classes you have booked will be listed.

 

How do I see my class credit balance and expiry dates?

Click on ‘View my swap records’ and this will list your cancelled classes, number of credits and expiry dates.

 

Why are there not many classes showing on my ‘Take Up’ page?

It might be that you have restricted ‘permissions’ due to your current ability. E.g. Beginners will only have access to other Beginner classes, and those with injuries/restrictions may have restricted access. To change this, please email the office.

 

Could there be another reason why not many classes are showing on my ‘Take Up’ page?

Yes, if we are on a two week break e.g. Christmas, then you may find that the next term’s classes are not yet showing. Wait a few days and then check again. Also, if a class is already full then it will not show on the ‘Take Up’ page. Occasionally there are technical issues, so if you believe this to be the case, please email the office.

 

How do I change my password?

Go to ‘Profile’

Is there a waiting list?

Yes, click on ‘Profile’ and scroll down to ‘Swap Alerts’ which will allow you to go on a waiting list for any class currently full. Please note that you cannot wait list for a specific date, only a specific time/day slot and you will then be notified by email when someone cancels out of that slot on any of the coming weeks, you can clearly see the date that is being offered within the email and then it is your choice as to whether you choose to log on and book into that class. At a point when you no longer want to wait list, you can just log in and 'uncheck' the box, and then notifications will no longer be sent to you for that class.

I’m having trouble logging in/using the system, how do I get help with this?

There is a ‘Questions and Answers’ option on the system which might help.  Otherwise, please phone us on 07411 826721 and we will be happy to talk you through it.

My usual class time/day is no longer convenient for me, how to I change to a different class time/day ongoing?

Email us and we will do that for you.

Can I swap into the ‘Men Only’ class?

Only if you’re a man!​​

CLASS SWAP RULES

  • classes must be cancelled online at least 2 hours prior to the start of your class in order to obtain a credit

  • your credit will expire 10 weeks from the date of the missed class (this means that in practical terms you will have less than the full 10 weeks to use your credits due to holiday closures)

  • you can book into a class up until 1 hour prior to the start of that class

  • spaces in a class are subject to availability

  • classes should be booked no more than 3 weeks in advance (we reserve the right to cancel your class swap if we need the space to enrol a permanent member to that class)

  • classes should not be cancelled more than 3 weeks in advance as this can mess up the system

  • your ‘take up’ class must not precede the date of the cancelled class

  • classes must by cancelled by yourself online. We are unable to cancel or book single classes on your behalf and we are unable to restore credits lost due to late cancellations, nor extend expiry dates

  • If you would like to change permanently to a different class time/day, please let us know and we will do this on your behalf

  • we would urge everyone to use the ClassSwap system if possible even if you do not wish to obtain credits, as this frees up space for others to use and also helps the teacher in their planning.
