Back pain is a major cause of disability, but what is the long term solution to this? There is a common prevention and rehabilitation strategy for most (but not all!) origins of back pain. Weak muscles are far more prone to micro-tears and injury, muscle imbalance will put more pressure on certain parts of the body, and a spine that doesn’t move efficiently in all directions will be more prone to arthritis and other conditions.

At ‘My Pilates Fix’ Studio in Upminster, we offer Pilates 1:1’s and Classes with an emphasis on rehabilitation, functional movement, and injury prevention. Pilates is a slow and controlled form of exercise that can improve your core and overall body strength, flexibility and ease of movement, balance, co-ordination and posture, whilst minimising any pressure on the joints.

Age and/or physical limitations are no barrier, and we welcome people of all genders, races and sizes to our friendly and supportive environment. Everyone is treated as an individual as we don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach. Classes are kept very small so that every client is supervised and corrected as necessary by our highly trained and qualified teachers. Above all we have fun! It is a great way to make new friends and feel connected to likeminded people.

Situated in our own beautiful Studio with all equipment provided for you, we are open 7 days and 4 evenings per week, with over 35 Pilates classes to choose from and an online class swap portal. We also offer Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy appointments.
