Reduce Back Pain with Exercise

If you are experiencing back pain, either our Level 1 Beginner class OR a 1-1 Private session is the place to start. You will learn the basic principles of Pilates, and some basic exercises which will be modified as appropriate. Your teacher can advise when you are ready to join the Level 2 Back Pain class.

These classes will teach you how exercise can improve or help to manage your pain, physical function and quality of life. You will strengthen and safely mobilise the musculature and tissues around your joints and help to manage your pain from arthritis or many other chronic conditions. The class has a maximum of 8 participants and is suitable for anyone of any age suffering with long term pain/discomfort, and is also suitable for those who struggle to get down to the floor.

This class is taught by Neil, Studio co-owner, Pilates teacher and Sports/Remedial Massage Therapist with almost 20 years experience.
