Welcome to My Pilates Fix Studio!
We are Neil and Charlene Carpenter and we have been living and working in Upminster, Essex in our little business since 2006.
We came to our work following a history of injury. Charlene trained as a dancer and Neil as a Firefighter, both occupations responsible for injuries that we struggled to recover from.
After years of being well known for our Sports Massage skills, we completed our vision/goal of setting up the perfect space where we can serve our fellow Upminster residents (and those further afield) by allowing them to join not an ordinary Pilates class, but one that takes into account their physical limitations, one that gives modifications to allow them to work on their injuries and also to do it in a friendly and supportive non intimidating space that caters for all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities.
We believe that class numbers should be kept small to enable a high level of supervision and correction, so that you get the most out of every exercise. We have personal experience of Childbirth, of C-Section, of Stroke and of Breast Cancer recovery, and our passion is in helping people to be the strongest version of themselves that they can be, both mentally and physically. Everyone has an individual goal and should be treated as such.
